  • Is this an OEM stylus?
  • The styli in our web shop are NOT maker original. These are brand new styli manufactured by JICO. They are compatible with their intended Original Equipment Manufacturer cartridges, however we manufacture styli according to our standards, e.g. dimensions, material, etc. Our products have been fully approved by Japanese audiophiles for years. Regarding their evaluation, please check the Reviews.
  • Are there any additional charges apart from the shipping charges?
  • International shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay any additional charges and to clear the package through customs. Please consult the customs of your country for estimates of possible fees. (The HS code for our products is 852290.)
  • How much is the shipping cost?
  • For shipping details, please check SHIPPING & RETURNS.
    We only ship using EMS service.
  • Can you ship to my country (e.i. Kazakhstan)?
  • We send our products by EMS (Express Mail Service by the Japanese post office). However, in very rare cases, it may not be possible to deliver to certain countries by EMS. Please Contact Us for more information about the shipping options for your country.
  • I have heard nothing in reply to my inquiry.
  • JICO answers all questions submitted by e-mail. If you don’t receive our reply, please check your spam mail folders as a spam filter could have moved it there. Or it might have been deleted by filtering software installed on your computer. Please check the above settings.

    Also, make sure to double check your email address when entering it into the inquiry form text field. Occasionally email responses to inquiries are returned to us by the server as a result of typographical error.
  • Can you supply the parts of a stylus, e.g.: Cantilever, tip and so on?
  • Unfortunately, we do not supply the parts of a stylus. We supply the stylus as a finished product.
  • I am looking for a stylus for my Technicraft TC4000.
  • Our database indicates that the stylus for the Technicraft TC4000 is the ATN12XE, which we carry in our online shop.

    To ensure it is the correct model, click here and confirm that the shape is the same.
    If the shape is different, please send front, back, left and right images of your needle (640 X 480 pixels), and we will try to identify the correct model.
  • I am looking for a stylus for my turntable. Is there a possibility you might have them?
  • If you are seeking a replacement needle for a specific turntable, to assure compatibility we ask that you send a picture in addition to a detailed description of your turntable. We will request a picture whether or not we are able to respond with the exact cartridge or stylus information with the description provided in your first inquiry.

  • Where can I buy your stylus in New York?
  • Our styli can only be purchased online.
  • I just received my new needle and it does not play very well. Is there anything I need to do to clean it or something specific I should know?
  • Please check to see if the stylus you received matches your order and was installed correctly, using the recommended tracking force and anti-skating settings. If you are still having problems, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Do you have a phone number to place an order from?
  • All orders and inquiries are handled through our website.
  • Do you accept payment by Check?
  • We currently accept PayPal payment only, including PayPal by credit card.
  • How do I track shipments sent by EMS?
  • The Japan Post Service provides tracking service. Enter your tracking number in the Track & Trace box on the EMS web page.
