Super Analog Stylus (SAS) Profile Tip
The tip of the is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to reach into the deepest recesses of the record groove in order to retrieve details which were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity.
Cantilever
is one of the most suitable materials for cantilevers. its density is low, Young’s modulus is large, and the speed of sound propagation is approximately 2.6 times faster than that of aluminum. Due to the characteristics above, boron cantilever can more precisely trace the information contained in the record grooves than aluminum cantilever.
There is no difference at all between the VN35 SAS [e007444] and the VN35HE SAS [e007446] versions. Technically speaking, they are identical. We just use the naming conventions of the originals to make them easier for customers to find.

This was a very worthwhile purchase. Not only is the sound more defined than the original Shure stylus but the SAS also tracks better. Highly recommended.

Believe the hype around the SAS stylus with a Shure V15 type3. Smooth detailed sound, accurate without being boring. Also seems to play worn records well, less noise than my Audio Technica with stock stylus. A was using a EVG stylus before the Jico SAS. The Jico SAS stylus was an amazing improvement.

The SAS stylus is a significant upgrade for the Shure V15 type III cartridge. The SAS extends the high frequency and also tightens up the bass. It is not a small improvement….it is HUGE!!!
    Highly recommended!
