Manufacturer : SHURE Super Analog Stylus (SAS) Profile Tip The tip of the Super Analog Stylus is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to reach into the deepest recesses of the record groove in order to retrieve details which were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity. Cantilever The reproducibility of the sound engraved on analog records is further enhanced by adopting sapphire for cantilevers since sapphire has high rigidity. Compared to aluminum cantilevers, every single sound will be defined more clearly, allowing the users to enjoy crystal-clear sound. There is NO interchangeability between VN5MR and VN5xMR. I am thrilled with the VN5MR HG SAS/S mounted in my Shure V15 Type V (not xMR) cartridge!
Extended lows, clear mids, and sparkling highs all with a defined separation that blends into expansive soundstage imaging.

This stylus was as good if not better than my original micro ridge.

However transfering both to my latest purchase of a Shure Ultra 500 cartridge has shown just how good the JICO SAS repalcement is.
It sounds even better in the 500 than the old V-15 Catridge!

I look forward to the reviews of the neo SAS replacement.

i am very impressed with the
VN5xMR neoSAS/s.
it gives lots of detail
i got a sas for my shure v15 111 that i was very pleased with, but i now use a
v15vx the neo sas is better than the one that came with it,.
