SKRATCH 101: Entry-Level DJ Stylus Now Available

JICO NIPPON PRECISION JEWEL INDUSTRY CO., LTD. (Head Office: Mikata District, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Yukihiro Nakagawa; hereinafter “JICO”) announces the release of the “SKRATCH 101-40”, an enhanced version of its DJ-oriented record stylus SKRATCH 101 (N44 model under the C-REVO brand). This enhancement comes as the previously used φ0.3 mm tip became difficult to source. The new SKRATCH 101-40 adopts a φ0.4 mm conical ruby tip. Along with the tip change, the damper rubber has been optimized with a Calibrated Suspension, improving tracking stability and creating a more controllable feel. These enhancements make the stylus easier to handle for entry-level DJs while maintaining high durability and consistent performance, even under aggressive DJ play.
