About Kokutan (Ebony)

Ebony is one of the most renowned hardwoods, widely distributed from South Asia to Africa and traditionally used for fine furniture and stringed musical instruments.

As its name suggests, it features a deep black tone. The wood is extremely dense, hard, and highly durable.
Today, ebony has become a very rare and precious material due to its limited global supply.

This replacement stylus features a solid conical (round) tip.
With its standard conical profile, it is a versatile model capable of reproducing a wide frequency range.

The typical stylus lifespan is approximately 200 hours.
