This was my second purchase from JICO. The item was shipped fast as announced and arrived in perfect condition. All the necessary documents for the customs were placed outside the packaging. So the payment of duty was done directly during the handover by the courier.
I purchased the JICO N110HE as a replacement for the stock stylus at my M92E cartridge. Unlike the other replacement styli offered by various shops (and sometimes desribed by them as made by JICO) the original JICO stylus contains a very thin and light alu cantilever. It also contains the typical Sure tension wire (fixed with solder within the rectangular tube) which is mostly missing at other replacements.
So, how does it sound? In short, rich and clear. The resolution is clearly improved in comparison to the M92E stock stylus and also the original N104E stylus which I own too. The tracking is superb, inner groove distortion is absent and surface noise is pleasantly low.
After Shure (sadly) exits its phono cartridge business in 2018, JICO remains the only manufacturer, who can deliver quality replacement parts for Shure phono products.
To sum things up, this stylus is highly recommendend. But if you want JICO quality you have to order directly at JICO.
