Super Analog Stylus (SAS) Profile Tip
The tip of the is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to reach into the deepest recesses of the record groove in order to retrieve details which were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity.
Cantilever
is one of the most suitable materials for cantilevers. its density is low, Young’s modulus is large, and the speed of sound propagation is approximately 2.6 times faster than that of aluminum. Due to the characteristics above, boron cantilever can more precisely trace the information contained in the record grooves than aluminum cantilever.

as far as i can tell, its competing with a nagaoka 200 seriese with their ver of a shibata tip, my only problem with this tip is it is better than the head is, nothing against the m95ed, however, ive always noticed it is veigue on details, this SAS tip is amasing at refined details, and rivals the nagaoka, but this head is still not meant for details, however, it will rock your face off, the bass, guitar, drums, and vocals are very clean, well pronounced, and as far as i can tell, is very pleasant. this is after a 25 hr break in period on the boron cantolever. im not dissapointed.

I am quite pleased with the SAS N-95ED stylus. The stylus is able to extract more details from the grooves than the original Shure stylus. In terms of detail extraction it is similar to the Ottofon 2M Black Shibata stylus in my view. The sound is crisp and clear and I note a reduction in surface noise from the older and somewhat worn LP’s that I have. It is well worth the 195USD investment (even when adding the shipping costs and the about 5O Euro that I had to pay for Belgium’s customs handling and VAT). Shipping was fast considering the corona issues (I received it a week after ordering) and the stylus was well packed and came with good instructions and explanation notes. I am using the stylus now for about 3 months and the Jico SAS upgrade has given a great boost to my old Shure 95ED element.
